Transmitted light microscope for substance experiments

Opto

14.09.22 - Droplet-based microfluidics is a technique that is widely used for experiments and manipulation of substances in the microliter range. The reaction process is usually fast. It is therefore necessary to display and evaluate the movement in temporal and spatial resolution.

For this task, Opto has developed the purely digital plug&play transmitted light microscope Profile M from Opto's own imaging module family. The compact and robust design is perfect for integration into systems for automating laboratory processes. The included software OptoViewer 2.0 enables not only image recording and labeling but also the creation of time-lapse videos. Special plug-ins enable the automatic counting of cells and substances or the determination of the flow rate and volume in the live image. Magnifications from 2.5x to 20x, recording speeds of up to several thousand fps are available in USB or as GigE variants.
