System-on-Modules for the vehicle network

MicroSys Electronics

05.09.22 - Microsys Electronics is expanding the scalability of the NXP S32G-based Miriac System-on-Module family: a variant for mixed-critical security applications is now available.

The MPX-S32G399A System-on-Module outperforms the application performance of its NXP S32G2-based predecessor by 2.5 times. The main improvements are eight Arm Cortex-A53 cores instead of just four, and four Arm Cortex-M7 dual-core lockstep pairs instead of three. The new System-on-Module offers several native CAN interfaces as well as comprehensive FlexRay, LIN and Ethernet support including TSN. Target markets are real-time connected vehicles, mobile machines and test and measurement devices in the automotive sector. Other applications include data loggers, edge gateways and fail-safe programmable logic controllers (PLC).
