Sirah Lasertechnik at Photonics West 2025

Sirah Lasertechnik will inform visitors at Photonics West in San Francisco from January 28 –30, 2025, about the latest developments in the field of tunable, extremely narrowband laser sources.

"We are excited to present advancements of our proven pulsed product lines to the professional audience," says General Manager Dr. Clemens Wünsche.

Sirah has made significant progress in the area of high-repetition-rate CREDO-TiSa product series, particularly in the nonlinear units for expanding the wavelength range: Now, the 1 – 3 kHz systems are also available up to the 5th harmonic. This expands the fundamental laser wavelength range of 700 to 900 nm into the UV range down to 192 nm, with milliwatt power levels. Also included in the exhibition portfolio is the unique, high-repetition-rate dye laser system CREDO-DYE, which offers over 10W of output power at a wavelength of 283 nm.

In addition to the classic dye lasers Cobra, CobraStretch, and PrecisionScan, the Nd:YAG laser Boston 500 will be presented for the optimized excitation of the dye lasers. With output energies of 270 mJ @ 532 nm (10 Hz) and 150 mJ @ 355 nm (10 Hz), the Boston laser impresses with reliability and excellent beam quality.

With its pulsed dye lasers, Sirah Lasertechnik, based in Grevenbroich, North Rhine-Westphalia, since 1998, has been a reliable partner for international and national research. Sirah laser systems have supported researchers at the PTB Braunschweig in the discovery of laser-based excitation of Thorium nuclei.
