New picture based barcode reader algorithms in 1DMax+ with Cognex Hotbars technology deliver new possibilities in process flexibility, reading reliability and reading speed. The improved performance now enables reading of heavily damaged barcodes with minimal resolution. Reading rates will be extremely high and almost reach 100 %. The new algorithms are able to exactly determine the orientation of the barcode with the texture and extract 1D Signals with high resolution for decoding. With the new algorithms and fast-working programming Hotbars delivers excellent signal fidelity during reading with high speed. The new Cognex Data Man reading devices generate with it high performance in flexibility, speed and safety.
