Digital position indicator without battery

In many applications, purely manual format adjustments do not meet the requirements for quality, reproducibility and traceability. One solution is to supplement them with digital position indicators. The electrically maintenance-free SeGMo-Assist digital position indicator is an environmentally friendly solution. It has an integrated multiturn absolute encoder that does not require a buffer battery. The elimination of battery changes offers not only ecological but also economic advantages, as operating costs can be saved and unplanned downtimes of the plant due to insufficient power supply of the position indicators are unnecessary.

The OLED display with backlighting shows actual and target positions, direction of rotation and operating states. Status and warning messages are clearly visible even from a few meters away. A software tool can also be used to load up to forty customer-specific pictograms. This means that instructions for the infeed axis can be designed intuitively by the user.
