CT software: 3D rendering accelerated

Version 3.5.2 of CT Software Family VG Studio Max, VG Studio, VG Metrology and VG Inline

The VG Studio Max, VG Studio, VG Metrology and VG Inline CT software family gets new features with version 3.5.2: faster 3D rendering, a new user interface for processing geometry elements, the ability to create a CAD model with fewer control points, and a feature to place arbitrary report content in sections.

The speed of rendering a scene with many ROIs and/or volumes has been increased, resulting in a better user experience for scenes with numerous entries, as occurs in analyses on multiple components and complex segmentations. Depending on the combination of entries in the scene, the user experience is significantly improved by up to ten times the frame rate.

A new user interface for processing geometry elements provides easier usability through a consistent look and feel and improved interactivity.

For the compensation mesh, users now have the option to add two different compensations with different scales to a tool correction workflow. They get a complete STL model that they can export for the Target Driven Deformation feature of Visi software or for sintering processes where the change is done in two process steps.

For large scans or complex geometries where fitting a larger number of control points might fail, a CAD model can now be created with fewer control points. This method is useful when less accurate results are acceptable.
