Confocal 3D line sensors detect multilayer surfaces

The confocal line sensors work with the Gocator 3D Smart Sensor Platform, with web-based software, integrated measurement tools, I/O connectivity and more. They have separate transmitting and recording optics that allow simultaneous generation of 3D topography, 3D tomography and 2D intensity data. This allows Gocator 5000 sensors to scan many different material types - including multi-layer, transparent, curved-edge, glossy, textured, mixed types and many other surfaces.
