Configurable safe small controller
The certification of the testing organization confirms that the basic device and the modules of the small controller meet the national safety standards of the USA and Canada for combustion systems. On-site users benefit from this, as the commissioning of firing systems can be carried out more quickly. Certification according to UL 60730-1 and UL 60730-2-5 has recently taken place for the base unit PNOZ m B1 Burner as well as the expansion modules PNOZ m EF 16DI and PNOZ EF 8DI4DO and the fieldbus modules PNOZ m ES Profinet and PNOZ ES Profibus.
UL 60730-1 and UL 60730-2-5 deal with burner controls used to automatically control burners using oil, gas, coal or other combustible materials. The UL certification gives companies and users access to the North American market.
