Camera protection housing for Flir A400/700, Dalsa Linea, Jai Fusion and other larger formats

Autovimation

With an extended inner radius, Autovimation's Megalodon series protective housings provide reliable all-around IP66/67 protection even for those camera types that are a bit too large for Orca series protective housings with the same outer diameter.

Due to the 2 mm larger inner diameter, Megalodon is suitable for Flir A400 as well as Dalsa Linea and for other larger-fomat makes with corresponding corner radius, such as Jai Spark, Runner Basler, etc. For Flir A400/700 series cameras, Autovimation supplies a suitable mount as well as a special window insert with germanium and Bk7 disk, which allows simultaneous operation of infrared and optical camera.

For the "reverse version" of the Megalodon housings, all Orca front covers can also be used, for example the dome window. The standard housing length of 227 mm can also be varied with the 30 or 60 mm Orca extensions. The flexible Quick-Lock/Heat-Guide camera mount allows any lens to be positioned directly behind the front window to avoid corner shadows. In addition to the high protection class, Megalodon housings made of anodized aluminum feature chemical resistance, vibration-proof mounting and very good heat dissipation, which provides passive cooling of the built-in camera by up to 23°.

The extensive range of optional accessories with various mounting kits, deflection mirrors, sunshields, protective flaps, heating plates and cooling units allows configuration for demanding application scenarios.
