Bottom up glass inspection system

Optris

17.05.2022 - Optris has developed a new bottom-up glass inspection system.

By installing two infrared cameras below the tempering line, they always measure the temperature on the uncoated side of the high emissivity glass (1,600 pixels scan line resolution and max. field of view of 111° / 4.3 m scan width). Both infrared cameras are reliably protected against glass breakage by an optris CTlaser 4M pyrometer in combination with the digitally controlled lens protection system (DCLP – two automatic shutters).

Optris delivers the system pre-assembled for easy installation on glass tempering lines. Installation is possible in the tightest of spaces and precise mechanical positioning of the system, which was previously done with old, bulky line scanners, is no longer necessary. The exact alignment of the scan line can be easily carried out with the solution in the supplied software.
