For all other sensors, such as angular rate sensors, current clamps or draw-wire sensors, the in-house calibration laboratory in Germany carries out a factory calibration, always documented with audit-proof certificates. The results of the analysis are highly accurate, extremely reliable and meaningful.

The laboratory is equipped to a high standard with equipment of Spektra and other special systems: The testing devices guarantee a particularly high accuracy of 5 to 10,000 Hz. Bay SensorTec uses its specially developed pendulum for shock calibrations - with amplitudes between 1 m/s² and 500 m/s² depending on the frequency and mass to be calibrated. Shock calibration in the automotive crash test involves amplitudes of up to 200 g on the pendulum. Here, too, a particularly high precision of the measurement results is achieved. BaySensorTec also uses a high-precision glass measuring rod for draw-wire sensors and high-quality devices for calibrating current clamps.
