Acceleration sensors for low-power applications

ASC

The capacitive acceleration sensors ASC ECO-x311 were specially developed for cost-efficient and mobile applications with tight installation spaces.

Among other things, the ASC Eco series offers an analogue, differential voltage output with a signal swing of ±2.4 V for the measuring ranges from ±2 g to ±40 g as well as a frequency response range (±5%) from DC to 1 kHz. With the ASC ECO-x311 acceleration sensors, ASC offers industry an optimal alternative to the previous standard low-noise or medium-frequency sensors in terms of cost efficiency and performance, whose very high performance is not required in all applications. A feature of the ASC Eco series is its low power consumption of <250 µA in continuous operation.

The acceleration sensors are therefore particularly suitable for mobile, energy self-sufficient applications such as driverless transport systems (DTS) or remote operated vehicles (ROV). Since the ASC ECO-x311 are also very flat, they can even be installed in places that are difficult to access. They are therefore predestined for the condition monitoring of machines, systems, infrastructure or vehicles.
ASC does not supply its customers with individual sensors, but with tailor-made solutions for their application. The capacitive acceleration sensors of type ASC ECO-x311 are therefore optionally available in a uniaxial, biaxial or triaxial design and are already adapted to customer-specific requirements from batch size 1.
