Phytec and Vision Components have entered into a partnership to integrate MIPI cameras into embedded systems. This collaboration enables the use of over 50 VC MIPI cameras with Phytec embedded imaging processor boards, as the drivers are included in the Linux BSP of the Phytec modules. At embedded world, the companies are presenting the phyBOARD-Pollux Kit with NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor and VC MIPI IMX900 camera. Customers can choose from a wide range of image sensors and benefit from seamless integration and support in the development of their vision projects.

Phytec also offers the phyBOARD-Polis kit with NXP i.MX 8M Mini processor. Both kits enable rapid development through pre-prepared Linux systems and demo software. Jan-Erik Schmitt from Vision Components and Martin Klahr from Phytec emphasize the advantages of the partnership, which combines in-depth know-how and project experience to support customers from prototyping to series production.
