19th Special Exhibition Non-Contact Measurement Technology at Control 2025

05.09.2024 - Exhibit proposals can be submitted until the end of October 2024

As part of Control 2025 in Stuttgart, the Fraunhofer Vision business unit is organizing the special exhibition Non-Contact Measurement Technology for the 19th time in cooperation with the trade fair organizer. The special exhibition shows a cross-section of innovative technologies, applications and system components from the field of non-contact measurement and testing technology on around 300 square meters and offers users an initial orientation aid in selecting the technology suitable for handling their own testing tasks. Companies, research institutions and universities that are interested in participating are asked to submit an exhibit proposal to the Fraunhofer Vision business unit by October 30, 2024 (title and short description).

The special exhibition Non-Contact Measurement Technology has established itself in recent years as a communication platform and marketplace for innovations for exhibitors and trade fair visitors alike and is an integral part of the Control trade fair. The performance and flexibility of modern systems are constantly growing. Ever larger scale ranges are covered and new fields of application are opened up, making it difficult for users to orient themselves in the market. The special exhibition therefore offers guidance in selecting the technology suitable for handling your own testing tasks.

As every year, the latest developments and innovative measuring and testing systems that work without contact will be presented. The focus will be on the testing or measuring of external or visible features of components or materials. Relevant technologies for this include light sectioning, strip projection, white light interferometry, holography, time of flight or confocal measuring methods. In addition, a platform will be offered for measuring and testing techniques for the interior of materials that work in the non-visible part of the wavelength spectrum, such as thermography, X-rays, ultrasound or terahertz, or spectroscopic methods such as hyperspectral imaging.
