24.09.2021 - Together, Bruno Schnekenburger, CEO of Yaskawa Europe, and the mayor of the city of Hattersheim, Klaus Schindling, laid the foundation stone for Yaskawa's new European headquarters in Hattersheim am Main near Frankfurt: In a festive setting, they traditionally and symbolically built a time capsule into the foundation on September 22nd of the resulting shell. The move into the new building is planned for 2023.

The new building with an investment volume of around 23 million euros is to be used in a variety of ways: A four-storey office complex with 4,220 m² of office space for around 220 employees is being built on the 8,322 m² site. The European Yaskawa Academy is located together with the future innovation center and adjoining showroom on the ground floor on an area of 1,150 m².

The good infrastructure in the Hattersheim Technology Park, which is often also referred to as the Digital City, as well as the continued good connections to local public transport, the motorway and Frankfurt Airport spoke in favor of the new location.
