Viscom appoints new Head of Central Service
Manufacturer of inspection systems for electronic assemblies
Christian Schweizer holds a degree in engineering and an MBA. In his career to date, he has been active in the areas of project and product management as well as process automation and production management. He now brings this experience to his new role, for example, to also drive forward the digital networking of Viscom's service products.
Henning Obloch, who was previously responsible for the service field service, is retiring into the release phase of his semi-retirement after participating in the international trade fair SMT Connect. The trade fair will be held in Nuremberg, Germany, from May 10 to 12, 2022.
Viscom founded the service division in 2008, and Obloch has headed it since then. Central Service employs around 30 people who are responsible for Europe and works closely with colleagues in Viscom's Customer Care Teams (CCT), which were created in 2020. In order to make the handover smooth, Schweizer has already been working for the company since the beginning of 2022.
