TQ Systems merges three plants
The TQ Systems plant in Peiting is being expanded and will also accommodate the capacities of the Peißenberg and Murnau plants from summer 2022.

In the course of the plant expansion, the Peißenberg and Murnau production sites will be integrated into the expanded TQ Oberland plant in Peiting and, from July 2022, all products and systems formerly located in the Peißenberg and Murnau plants will be manufactured in Peiting and also shipped from there. By the end of June, TQ will successively move into the warehouse as well as the production and administration area.
Plant expansion: Two additional SMD lines, automated warehouse
On an area of then 4,500 m², 135 employees will start initially. This number is to increase step by step. The facility will then house electronics production with SMD and THT manufacturing - including test bay, painting, assembly and mechanical production.
Likewise, the regional customer center responsible for customer support in the Oberland region will also be on site. "At the Peiting site, we have the best prerequisites for consistently implementing TQ's system idea of everything from a single source, from electronics production to final assembly of the complete device," comments Friedrich Maier, site manager in Peiting.
In the course of redesigning the production area, the company is optimizing production processes and automating the warehouse. TQ is also creating two additional SMD lines, which will provide additional production capacity for electronics manufacturing.
