State encourages participation in the Sensor + Test

Special program supports the appearance of small and medium-sized companies at the fair

01.12.2021 - Exhibitor of the upcoming Sensor + Test, which will take place from 10.-12. May 2022, which takes place in Nuremberg, can now plan their participation with very special funding. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy supports small and medium-sized innovative companies in marketing their products or services.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy has launched a funding program for the participation of small and medium-sized innovative companies based in Germany in selected leading international trade fairs in Germany - which includes Sensor + Test. The aim of the program is to provide the best possible support for the marketing of innovative products, processes and services in order to open up export markets. Participation in individual stands is funded and, if approved, a grant of 40% to the cost of stand rental and construction up to a total of EUR 12,500 per exhibitor is granted. “We are pleased that we were included in the funding program with Sensor + Test and that we can help exhibitors to increase their marketing opportunities. Interested exhibitors shouldn't wait too long to register because around 70% of the stands are already booked, ”explains organizer Holger Bödeker.

In addition, the program to promote innovation for startups will be continued in 2022. Here, too, Sensor + Test belongs to the group of qualified trade fairs. Participation in the “Young Innovative Companies” pavilion is subsidized.

Special topic "Sensor and measurement technology for the digital world"

The digital world gives us a wide range of opportunities to better analyze and understand what is happening in the real world. In order for the digital systems to be able to produce precise results, however, they need the most comprehensive and exact information possible about the real conditions. Sensors and measuring systems ensure this connection between the digital and the real, analog world and are therefore the key technologies for the functioning of digital processes of all kinds.

The special topic of Sensor + Test 2022 offers providers and users space for an innovation dialogue about new concepts, products and solutions for important areas of application: From human vital data and measured variables of our environment to the immense variety of data from industrial and technical processes. Companies and institutes with special expertise in digitization can present themselves with a cost-effective complete package at the highlighted special forum "Sensor and measurement technology for the digital world". The lecture forum in Hall 1 on May 10, 2022 also has the motto "Sensor and measurement technology for the digital world".

Topic stand "Sensors and systems for machine vision"

machine vision also requires sensors and systems, which will be presented at Sensor + Test 2022. This close thematic relationship is addressed by the “Sensors and Systems for machine vision” stand with particularly advantageous conditions for exhibitors from this special field.

Further joint stands are organized by research groups such as Bayern Innovativ or the Strategic Partnership Sensor Technology.

However, the number of available stands is limited in each of the different formats. Early registration for the Sensor + Test from May 10th to May 12th, 2022 is therefore recommended in any case.
