Sick and Endress+Hauser are working together with immediate effect

08.01.2025 - Both companies are starting a strategic partnership for process automation

Sick and the Swiss measurement technology specialist Endress+Hauser have entered into a strategic partnership for process automation. The aim is to provide customers with better support and to advance technological solutions for the decarbonization of the process industry. The joint venture “Endress+Hauser Sick GmbH+Co. KG” will strengthen the development and production of analytical measurement technology and gas flow measurement. Around 800 Sick employees will join Endress+Hauser to sell product solutions worldwide.

After the contract was signed in summer 2024 and a preparation phase, the partnership is now taking effect. Customers will benefit from an expanded product portfolio that will be distributed through Endress+Hauser Sales Centers. Both companies are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and continuous customer support.

The partnership also includes a joint venture that develops solutions for the decarbonization of the process industry. Sick will continue to focus on its core business in factory and logistics automation. The existing product portfolios of both companies are complementary and offer significant advantages for customers.

“We are pleased that the partnership is now starting and are convinced that it offers great opportunities for growth and development,” says Dr. Mats Gökstorp, CEO of Sick AG. Dr. Peter Selders, CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group, adds: ”By joining forces, we will create added value for our customers and be more successful as partners.”
