Schneider Electric introduces new VP Service DACH

24.04.2024 - The company appoints Marco Geiser as the new Vice President Service for the DACH region

Marco Geiser took over the role of Vice President (VP) Service DACH at Schneider Electric on April 1, 2024. He joined the tech group in 2022 as Service Director Switzerland to strengthen the Schneider Electric Switzerland and Service DACH management teams. Marco Geiser previously worked in the energy industry for Alstom and General Electric, where he gained many years of practical service experience in the areas of supply chain, sales and business development in various management positions. After training as a mechatronics engineer, he studied industrial engineering and later earned an MBA at ETH Zurich. As part of his international career, he lived and worked in the Middle East and the USA for several years. In his free time, the certified mountain bike instructor enjoys being outdoors in nature.

The basis of Schneider Electric's service offerings is the deep understanding of energy management and automation technologies and their transfer into the users' industry-specific applications. Against the background of demographic change, which is also reflected in the labor market, in addition to classic services such as condition-based maintenance or modernization, digital remote diagnosis, consulting services and tailor-made knowledge transfers also form an important focus of Schneider Electric's service offering. The transfer of knowledge through training or EcoXpert partnerships supports customers in building skills, for example in modernizing energy-intensive production facilities or in digitalized maintenance concepts for data centers.
