Polytec takes over distribution of Cantronic OGI cameras

10.09.2024 - With this partnership, Polytec aims to provide even more comprehensive support to its customers in industries such as oil and gas, chemicals and energy supply

Dr. Dirk Samiec, Head of the Photonics business unit at Polytec, welcomes the cooperation: "The collaboration with Cantronic allows us to offer our customers first-class OGI technology. The cameras are characterized by their high precision, versatility and reliability - exactly the qualities that our customers expect."

The versatile models for portable, stationary and drone-based applications enable the detection of over 400 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and methane. Thanks to the highly sensitive MWIR detectors, these cameras offer precise and fast gas leak detection. The real-time visualization of gases, which enables an immediate response to potential dangers, is worth highlighting. The robust, corrosion-resistant designs ensure use even under extreme conditions.

As part of this cooperation, Polytec not only takes over sales, but also comprehensive advice, conducting feasibility studies, training and services. The holistic support ensures that customers are optimally supported from the evaluation to the implementation of the technology.
