With investments of around 20 million euros and 6,500 m² of additional space, PI is strengthening its global development and production center and the economic development of the region. The expansion will enable capacities to be tripled in order to meet the requirements of customers from growth sectors such as the semiconductor industry, photonics and laser material processing.

CEO Markus Spanner emphasizes the importance of the new building for future viability. Further investments are planned in Germany, the USA, China and Japan. The new building meets the highest environmental standards with sustainable building and insulation materials, a photovoltaic system and district heating. Markus Riesterer, managing director of the business park, praises the creation of high-tech jobs and the use of renewable energies.
