Jochem Herrmann to join EMVA Executive Committee

Jochem Herrmann, Chief Scientist and co-founder of the Dutch camera manufacturer Adimec, joins the board of the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA). Herrmann is responsible for the future technologies on Adimec's roadmap. In the past he already played a leading role in the joint R&D project which resulted in the new interface standard CoaXPress and earlier with the introduction of CameraLink into the industry. Herrmann sees standards within the industry as key enabler for further growth of the machine vision market.
According to EMVA statutes, Jochem Herrmann has been invited as the sixth member of the EMVA Executive Committee by the current board members. The EMVA general assembly will be asked to approve this decision in their next meeting.
