Inspekto opens US office
The German-Israeli company Inspekto has founded a local office in Detroit, Michigan. From there, the manufacturer of the Plug'n'Play inspection solution S70 will serve the North American market.
"Detroit is widely known as the US headquarters for some of the world's largest car manufacturers, such as Ford, General Motors or Fiat Chrysler", explains Zohar Kantor, Vice President of Sales and Project Management at Inspekto. "Since the city is also the birthplace of modern manufacturing technologies, we are proud to establish a presence here".
Inspekto presented the S70 at Vision 2018. It enables employees in the production facility to unpack the autonomous machine vision system and start it up on their own within a few minutes - without any help from system integrators and without the lengthy processes that are nowadays usually associated with setting up QA solutions.
