Inpotron doubles production

Inpotron is expanding production at its headquarters. The power supply specialists are reacting to the increased demand for their products and want to systematically counteract delivery bottlenecks. An agile company structure should ensure dynamic growth. A 100 percent increase in sales to 48 million euros is planned by 2028.

At the headquarters of Inpotron in Hilzingen, Baden, a new production hall with 4,800 m² of usable space is to be built by the end of the year. Sales, marketing and part of the development will then be housed in the existing building. With this expansion, the power supply specialists want to increase their annual production from currently around 800,000 units to 1.5 million devices.

In addition to power supplies for industry, which account for around 50 percent of sales, power supplies for LED lighting and building system technology are the current growth drivers. Above all, the development of tailor-made yet cost-effective solutions is what makes the company so successful. A quarter of the workforce works in this team. By 2028, annual sales are expected to increase from currently 24 million euros in 2020 to 48 million euros.
