Euresys and A&B Software Announce Strategic Licensing Agreement

A&B Software (New London, CT, USA) and Euresys s.a. (Angleur, Belgium) announced a licensing agreement that will provide Open eVision, an image processing software toolkit from Euresys, with universal drivers for GigE Vision and FireWire cameras.

"ActiveGigE and ActiveDcam products from A&B Software feature a universal API to acquire images and control all GigE Vision and IIDC-1394 cameras", said Marc Damhaut, Senior Vice-President Product Management at Euresys. "The specific versions that we are launching, 'ActiveGigE for Open eVision' and 'ActiveDcam for Open eVision', benefit from a seamless integration into the development environment for machine vision based on Open eVision".

"Our universal camera drivers and SDKs provide machine vision users with high reliability, outstanding performance and easiness of use", said Boris Nalibotski, President at A&B Software. "We are exited to work with Euresys, a recognized leader in the machine vision industry, to deliver competitive software solutions based on GigE Vision and FireWire technologies".
