Embedded World celebrates visitor growth of over 50 percent
30.03.2023 - The organizers of Embedded World are satisfied: over 950 exhibitors from 44 countries presented new products and solutions on site
Almost 27,000 visitors - more than 50 percent more than in the previous year - streamed through the exhibition halls over the three days. Over 40 percent came from abroad. This impressive result exceeded even the high expectations of the events team. The lecture program of the two parallel conferences attracted 1659 participants and speakers from 46 countries to the exhibition center in Nuremberg. The three exhibitor forums with expert panels, company presentations and startup pitches were a magnet for visitors in the halls - they were almost always full.
The networking event #women4ew celebrated its premiere. Around 100 women and a few interested men discussed career paths, leadership qualities and the added value of diverse teams on Wednesday afternoon. The discussion and the positive feedback gave rise to numerous ideas for continuing the format next year.
The third day of the fair was dedicated to Student Days. What defines the embedded community? What can I write my thesis about? What exciting jobs are the exhibitors offering? With these and many other questions, around 600 students got involved in what was happening at the trade fair on Thursday and received, among other things, the keynote speech by Dr. Stefan Finkbeiner, CEO of Bosch Sensortec, an impression of the fascination of the embedded industry.
The next embedded world Exhibition&Conference will take place from 9.-11. April 2024 in the Exhibition Center Nuremberg.
