EK Robotics with new headquarters in Hamburg
Topping-out ceremony for the future headquarters on the Elbe island of Veddel in Hamburg.




The new innovation and production site of the transport robotics expert is being built on a 17,000 square metre site to the south-east of Hafen City in the immediate vicinity of the city centre.
The building ensemble comprises 10,000 square metres of floor space. The L-shaped office complex comprises 7,000 square metres of space on five floors as well as a 3,000 square metre assembly, test and development hall. The new building will provide space for about 400 transport robotics experts. It replaces the company's previous headquarters in Rosengarten and is one of six locations alongside Reutlingen (Germany), Milan (Italy), Prague (Czech Republic), Buckingham (UK) and Budapest (Hungary).
