Edmund Optics and Quartus Engineering announce a new strategic partnership. The partnership will enable the company to offer highly integrated, complex and precise optomechanical solutions that lead to customer technology improvements and faster time to market.

Edmund Optics and Quartus will leverage their extensive engineering and manufacturing capabilities to jointly develop cutting-edge, customer-tailored optomechanical designs and systems, as well as new optical products for the most advanced applications. The partnership will focus on innovative solutions for applications that require and use high-precision lenses, optical sensors and automated vision products. The joint developments are expected to result in highly integrated solutions that offer excellent optical performance and high reliability and that can be manufactured at the speed and scale that customers need in areas ranging from industrial inspection to aerospace and consumer electronics.

The partnership will also focus on joint research and development to solve complex optical challenges and create new ideas that ultimately lead to new products. In addition, both companies plan joint marketing activities to promote and introduce the new service offerings.
