This means that the office space has been doubled. The investment sum is 2.5 million euros. The new building combines two main themes that CTX stands for. One theme is mutual exchange. The office building is above all a meeting place. It combines conference rooms and a large cafeteria. The office spaces are generously sized and have transparent glass walls. The entire building is barrier-free. Four charging stations for electric vehicles were built outside, with the option of further expanding the electric parking space. Right next to the office wing, a lockable bicycle garage doubles the existing area of ​​bicycle parking spaces. This should increase the incentive for many to cycle to work. CTX offers its employees the opportunity to use the JobRad program.

The second topic is sustainability, which again plays a major role. As with its previous buildings, CTX also equipped the new administration building with a resource-saving heat pump and a photovoltaic system. The aim for the latter is to supply the building with 70 to 80 percent of its own electricity. Overall, energy requirements should be quite low. The office building complies with the "Energy Efficiency House 40 plus" standard. It therefore requires 60 percent less energy than a reference building in accordance with the Building Energy Act. The lighting is automated and adapts to the position of the sun. And it has a little special feature: the ceiling lights are cooled using CTX solutions.

The new building is already the third expansion on the company premises. It was necessary to accommodate CTX's continuous growth in sales and employees. It is therefore designed so that two more floors can be added. The building will be officially inaugurated in the fall.
