Aerotech has appointed Stephan Schech as the new managing director of Aerotech GmbH in Fürth. With this decision, the company is relying on an experienced expert in the fields of automation and motion control technology to further strengthen and expand Aerotech's presence in the DACH region. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Stephan Schech graduated from the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences with a degree in mechanical engineering.

He was most recently managing director of Elmo Motion Control GmbH, a company for miniature servo amplifiers, and worked as a sales manager at the Baumüller Group in Nuremberg in the field of automation technology. Prior to that, he was responsible for sales, service and business development in the field of pitch systems for wind turbines at Emerson Electric - SSB Wind Systems GmbH.
