126th Annual Meeting of the DGaO

10 – 14 June 2025 in Stuttgart, Germany, at the University of Stuttgart – extended submission deadline 31 January: the German Society for Applied Optics (DGaO) invites contributions in the area of applied optics for its annual meeting.

The focus of the conference will be on:
• Optical metrology and measurement systems
• Optical design and opto-mechanical system design
• Photonic sensors and systems for industry and life sciences
• Optics in production (laser material processing, additive manufacturing)
• Miniaturized optical systems for industrial applications: design, realization, testing
• Optics for automotive applications
• Ultraprecision- and nanometrology

The DGaO invites the submission of oral presentations (12 min plus 3 min discussion) and posters from the list of topics above or from the general field of applied optics. Please use the online system at
www.dgao.de. The abstracts should not exceed 1,200 characters (including blank characters).

Conference language is German, English contributions are welcome.

DGaO Young Scientists Award

In 2025, the DGaO will again award the DGaO Young Scientists Award for the best dissertation and for the best master’s thesis of 2024 in the field of applied optics. Detailed information is available on the DGaO website. Proposals for the DGaO Young Scientists Award can be submitted by January 31, 2025, to the DGaO office (dgao-sekretariat@dgao.de).
