7th European Machine Vision Forum takes place in France
23.10.2024 - The main topic is the challenges and opportunities of computer vision for human-machine interaction
The seventh European Machine Vision Forum will take place on November 7 and 8 in Mulhouse, France. It is hosted by the École Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs Sud-Alsace (ENSISA) of the Université de Haute-Alsace.
The main theme is “Challenges and opportunities of computer vision for human-machine interaction”. Professor Michael Heizmann explains that the focus this year is on the integration of humans as part of an overall system. This is relevant in many areas, e.g. in assembly tasks in industry or in driving vehicles. Technical questions such as the choice of sensor technology and the consideration of personal rights will be addressed.
Keynote speeches will be given by Jean-Pierre Chambard, Maria-Theresa Licka and Christian Daul. Over a dozen presentations will shed light on various aspects of the main theme.
