Expanded options for compact computed tomography devices

The X-ray tube technology of the TomoScope XS devices is now also available with an acceleration voltage of 200 kV and extends the area of application to workpieces with a higher density and longer radiation lengths

The low-maintenance X-ray source in monoblock design offers outputs of up to 80 watts with focal spot sizes of a few micrometers. The transmission target enables small focal spot sizes even at high power and thus fast, high-resolution measurements. All Tomoscope devices have a standard-compliant calibration, optionally with a DAkkS certificate. The traceability to international standards corresponds to the requirements of IATF 16949.

With X-ray sources in monoblock design, the high-voltage generator is located directly on the X-ray tube, so that the vulnerable and maintenance-intensive high-voltage plug connection is no longer necessary. The long-life filament makes a filament change by the operator or as part of a service call superfluous. The long-life target ensures consistently high quality of the X-ray radiation. This means that only one maintenance is required per year, operating costs and downtimes are low.
