Thermal imaging camera safely monitors hot working environments
The ATEX-compliant thermal imaging camera from Teledyne Flir is shock-absorbent and its display is protected by bulletproof glass. It is designed for condition monitoring in demanding environments.
Teledyne Flir presents a portable thermal imaging camera for condition monitoring in hazardous environments. It has a robust, ATEX-compliant housing that allows electrical or mechanical equipment to be monitored even in hot working environments.
Electronic equipment used in these hot working environments must comply with ATEX product regulations or similar regulations (e.g. UKEX and IECEx). That is why the Flir Cx5 with 160 x 120 pixels is housed in a robust enclosure. The housing is shock-absorbent and a germanium window with anti-reflective coating protects the lens. The 3.5-inch colour display also features bulletproof glass and is touchscreen compatible.
The camera is equipped with a Flir Lepton thermal imaging sensor and Flir's patented MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology, which adds visible details of the scene to the thermal images. Inspectors can thus detect hidden problems.
In addition, the Flir Cx5 is compatible with the Flir Ignite Cloud, a cloud storage solution that allows users to upload, edit, organise and share their images.
