The stepper motor AM3248 is now available from Faulhaber. With a maximum of 10,000 rpm, it can reach five times the speed of comparable stepper motors.

In combination with a gear reduction of 100:1, it delivers a torque of 5 Nm. The motor achieves these values ​​with a diameter of only 32 mm. This makes it suitable for numerous applications in areas such as aerospace, laboratory automation, large optical systems, semiconductor industry, robotics and 3D printing.

The multi-pole two-phase stepper motor AM3248 makes 48 steps per revolution and offers a very high holding torque of 85mNm. Its low moment of inertia allows it to be used in applications that require very fast acceleration and rapid changes of direction. Newly developed large ball bearings extend the service life of this type of motor even further. The motor can also be combined with an IE3 series magnetic encoder.
