New format for connectors

Harting

Harting has developed a new format for the Han B standard: The Han L32 B increases flexibility when selecting the right rectangular connector for industrial applications.

With it, users can replace two interfaces of size 16 B and thus save more than 40 percent installation space. A transmission of power, signals and data is therefore possible with a smaller number of interfaces and fewer components. The time required for assembling the interfaces is reduced.

The Han L32 B housing offers space for an insulator with 32 contact points (16 A/500 V) or for a hinged frame that can accommodate up to eight modules. The new size not only offers space for the articulated frame with the most module slots, but also enables the highest module density in a Han connector. Users can put together the best interface for almost any application from the large number of available modules.
