Safety rotary encoder with ultra-compact dimensions

With a diameter of only 38 mm and a length of 38 mm, the sensor is suitable for installation in tight spaces. The safety level is high: the safety rotary encoder detects position and speed and fulfills the requirements of SIL 2 (IEC 61508) and PL d (EN 13849). The safety-related signals are transmitted via a certified EtherCAT FSoE interface.
