Modular cooling concept for servo amplifiers

B&R Industrie-Elektronik

The servo amplifier Acopos P3 from B&R is now also available with a push-through cooler or cold plate cooling. With the new cooling variants, up to 60% of the heat loss can be given off to the ambient air outside the control cabinet.

The control cabinet can be built much more compactly, as significantly fewer fans and air conditioning units are required or, ideally, can be omitted completely. The costs for operation and maintenance decrease.

The new cooling versions of the Acopos P3 are suitable for any number of axes in all performance ranges. In addition, significantly less dust gets into the control cabinet, as there is no need for fans and air conditioning units that draw in air from the outside. Maintenance work such as replacing filters is significantly reduced. As a result, the number of stops for the entire machine also decreases. The availability increases.
