Vision

Camera system with decentralized hardware platform

VisionTools Bildanalyse Systeme GmbH

Vision Tools Image Analysis Systems introduces the next generation of the VoE product line. Vision over Ethernet is a camera system with a decentralized hardware platform based on module components. The heart of the platform is the VoE-SlyBox evaluation unit with 10 Gbit Ethernet interface and integrated image analysis software VisionTools V60.

VoE cameras with different sensor resolutions are available for image acquisition. 3D scanners can also be integrated. The VoE module lights with LED technology can be controlled via Ethernet and contain a web server for easy configuration and diagnostic queries. An additional line to supply power to VoE cameras and VoE module lights is not required.

Up to eight lights or cameras can be connected to each GigE PoE switch (VoE NetBox II). The 10 Gbit uplink port to the evaluation unit offers sufficient speed and bandwidth, even when several VoE NetBoxes are cascaded.

The cables in standard lengths are already provided with plugs ready for connection, which reduces the installation effort. Thanks to a coordinated range and the high degree of protection of the individual components, a control cabinet and air conditioning are no longer required and only a few spare parts are required. Subsequent expansions can be made without converting the existing VoE camera system.

The VoE product line can be individually tailored to each test task.
