The program of the "Industrial Vision Days" is ready
Lecture forum of the Vision 2021
"Exhibitors are eager to present trends and innovations in computer vision technology in a way that is as practical, comprehensible and fun as possible," says Dr. Klaus-Henning Noffz, Director New Business Development at Basler and Chairman of the Board of the VDMA Machine Vision Department. This year, visitors can look forward to top-class panel discussions on current trend topics, the daily start-up pitches and presentations from exhibiting companies on all important areas of machine vision.
Two industry awards will also be presented on the big stage for the first time this year: After last year's digital premiere, the Vision Start-up 2021 will be chosen there and the Vision Award will be presented.
Presentations also online - live or on demand
For interested parties who cannot travel to Stuttgart this year, Messe Stuttgart is realizing a broadcast of the Industrial Vision Days for the first time - live and on demand. The link for registering for the Industrial Vision Days broadcast will go online in the week before the Vision at www.vision-messe.de/industrial-vision-days.
The complete lecture program can be found at https://www.vision-messe.de/ivd-programm.
Lectures as the basis for stimulating trade show discussions
"It is a great honor for us to participate in Industrial Vision Days and an excellent opportunity to address a broad audience of machine vision professionals," says Svorad Stolc, CTO for 3D Sensing at Photoneo. The company will provide insights into MotionCam-3D in its presentation. Visitors will get in-depth first-hand technical insights into the latest technology. Among other things, the wide range of applications and use cases will be discussed.
Photonfocus is also coming up with innovations for 3D machine vision again this year: "Our Multipeak Linefinder tool helps to reliably detect the laser line in laser triangulation with sophisticated FPGA algorithms, especially in the case of multiple reflections on metallic or other difficult surfaces," explains Marcel Pabst, Head of Sales.
"I expect Vision 2021 to provide valuable impulses for the entire machine vision industry, to which we would also like to make a decisive contribution," explains Dr. Olaf Munkelt, Managing Director of MVTec. He adds that the importance of Vision 2021 this year will lie more than ever in acting as an exchange platform for a dynamic industry. With this approach, MVTec has designed its booth and presentation on Deep Learning for the Industrial Vision Days. The aim is to provide incentives for stimulating discussions.
In his presentation, Dr. Matthias Kerschhaggl, CTO and owner of EVK, will give trade visitors from the mechanical and plant engineering sector insights into the possibilities that AI-supported data processing, sensor fusion and services in the field of application development can offer them in order to meet current challenges such as competitive pressure, digitization, scalability of machine solutions or the need for globally available services.
