Water-cooled generator

Nidec Leroy-Somer

Nidec Leroy-Somer announces the launch of the water-cooled generator LSAH 42.3. This series extends the range of industrial generators, optimized for use in combined heat and power (CHP) systems.

The LSAH 42.3 supplements the performance range with the LSAH 44.3, which was launched on the market last year. It uses the same air-water cooling system and thus achieves very high electrical and thermal efficiencies.

The LSAH 42.3 is designed for installation in small gas engine gensets that are used for the combined generation of electricity and heat. A main area of application for these units is the central heating of residential houses, hotels and public buildings.

The generator delivers a rated continuous output of 10 to 33 kVA at 50 Hz (12.5 to 41 kVA at 60 Hz) and is equipped with an AREP excitation system and digital controller D350 as standard. With the optional D550 digital controller, parallel operation with the public network is also possible.
