Inductive couplers with IO-Link

Balluff GmbH

Contactless energy transfer, fast data transfer and condition monitoring in one: the new BIC M30 inductive couplers from Balluff are particularly suitable for production lines where flexibility is required.

Inductive coupling systems are always used when a particularly large amount of power is transmitted. This is the case, for example, in robotics when controlling gripper arms. They can transmit up to 1.5 amps of continuous output current. The energy transfer is contactless. The IO-Link interface of the inductive coupler enables a smooth, transparent and very fast exchange of data between IO-Link device and IO-Link network module.

With their compact stainless steel housing in IP67 and with UL certification, the inductive couplers can be used flexibly - for example in the packaging or automotive industry or on special machines.

Thanks to their extended operating temperature range from -5 to +70 degrees Celsius and their robust stainless steel housing, the inductive couplers are also suitable for harsh environmental conditions.
