Scalable embedded PC

Compmall GmbH

Compmall has presented its new embedded PC GP-3000. The GP-3000 can be used on the one hand as a scalable embedded PC and on the other hand, with attachable GPU expansion boxes, as a GPU computer for demanding AI applications. The GP-3000 can be equipped with up to two full-length graphics accelerator cards.

The basis for the GP-3000 is a processor of the 9./8. Gen. Intel Xeon / Core or 8th Gen. Intel Pentium / Celeron. There are 20 processor variants to choose from. The high-end solution is the Intel Xeon E-2278GE processor with 8 cores and a clock frequency of up to 4.7 GHz. On the other hand, the 8th Gen. Intel Celeron G4900T with two cores and a clock frequency of up to 2.9 GHz is ideal for low requirements. The graphics chip is adapted to the processor: the UHD 630 is provided for Xeon and Core, the UHD 610 for Pentium and Celeron. Both graphics chips allow control of three independent displays via HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA, whereby HDMI and DisplayPort have a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels.

By integrating a CMI module, it is possible to increase the GbE ports by a further four to nine ports. The four additional ports are also available as a screwable M12 variant. Alternatively, two 10GbE ports can be implemented. Two SIM card slots provide the connection to radio networks and a WLAN card can be inserted via a mini PCIe slot.
