Laser 2000 expands its product portfolio with B&W Tek's spectrometers to include spectroscopy solutions, including a range of high quality spectroscopy systems, modular spectrometers and specialized accessories, as well as custom solutions for specific application requirements. Laser 2000 will distribute these products in the DACH region, Scandinavia and France.

Laser 2000 advances in high-tech spectroscopy

The modular spectrometer solutions enable Laser 2000 to enter the market segment of application-adapted high-tech spectroscopy. The following B&W-Tek product series are now added to the company's spectroscopy portfolio:

•     "Quest" are Czerny-Turner spectrometers in crossed and uncrossed configuration with CCD detector.
•     "Exemplar", a highly sensitive backside exposed CCD spectrometer.
•     "Sol", an InGaAs array spectrometer with a wavelength range from 900 to 2550 nm.

This means that the photonics expert now offers spectroscopy solutions that can be easily and quickly integrated for any area. With their high analysis speeds and sensitivity in a compact size, the products are suitable for demanding measurements, especially when little space is required or high flexibility in the measurement setup is required. This is also reflected in the possibility of OEM configurations.

B&W Tek started with diode and solid state lasers

B&W Tek, a Delaware-based US company, was founded in 1997 as a manufacturer of customized solutions using diode lasers and diode-pumped solid state lasers. It has developed into a versatile company with expertise in spectrometry and chemometric technologies for the production of spectroscopy and laser instruments. During this time, the company has achieved a leading position in the market and its products are used especially in spectroscopy.

In addition to the extensive and established product portfolio, B&W Tek also develops custom solutions from modular standard components and combines them into complete spectroscopy OEM/OED products. Innumerable analyses can be performed by combining components such as spectrometers, sample accessories and software developments. All products are developed and built in our own factory by our employees.
