Basler Addressing the Industry´s Hot Topics at VISION Stuttgart

Camera manufacturer Basler is presenting its extensive portfolio at the VISION Stuttgart show, which runs from November 8-10, 2016. In response to customer interest in topics relevant to industry – including camera performance and reliability, increasing cost sensitivity and embedded vision technology – Basler is headed to the trade show with innovative products and solutions intended for a wide range of applications.
The Basler ace series will be one of many products given prominent placement. The latest ace models are outfitted with Sony's IMX sensors as well as CMOS sensors from the latest generation of the Python series from ON Semiconductor. These cameras deliver resolutions ranging from VGA to 5 megapixels, and speeds of up to 751 frames per second. Each of the new ace models stands out thanks to a combination of compact design, CMOS sensors with the latest global shutter technology and an good price/performance ratio.
Visitors are invited to be convinced by a live demonstration of the PGI feature set — Basler's in-camera image optimization — and of the Basler ToF camera, the first industrial Time-of-Flight camera with VGA resolution in the mid-market price segment.
Another live presentation will illustrate how to achieve size and cost-optimized system integration using embedded vision. In addition, Basler partner Dream Chip Technologies GmbH will talk about this advanced technology at the ‘inspect application forum’.
Basler's booth will also promote other camera series such as the Basler beat, pulse and dart, as well as Basler Lenses, cables and other accessories from the extensive Basler portfolio.
