Tordivel Introduces Scorpion Vision Version X
Tordivel AS announces a new major release of Scorpion Vision Software with focus on 3D Machine Vision and Microsoft Windows 8.0. The major goal of Version X is to support our vision to "Locate moving 3D objects in real-time". Tordivel's continuing and unalterable requirement on making advanced mechanisms available and usable has again evolved with build #532 since the initial release of Scorpion in 2000.
Scorpion Vision supports Windows 8 and has the new Metro Look
We have updated and improved the Scorpion Vision in Metro style to make Scorpion more usable and to be able to make a compact and friendly user interface with the minimum effort. The Version X release has the accumulated industrial strength and the extensive results from a series of large 3D Machine Vision R&D projects started in 2006. The latest project Scorpion 3D Modeling has resulted in a technology that makes it possible to simulate 3D Stereo Vision based on 3D Models. This reduces risk, deployment cost and installation time for Scorpion 3D Stinger based solution in many industries. The technology is available to Scorpion Vision Software partners with the release of version X.
Extended by powerful Scorpion Tool Components
With the launch of Version X we are proud to announce that more 25 Scorpion Tool Components are available with set of powerful 2D and 3D tools and other useful components. This speeds up and uniforms the creation of Scorpion Vision profiles. Tordivel will supply more than 50 new Scorpion Tool Components in the coming months - this will benefit Version X users and make them even more competitive. We want user feedback and will develop all the STCs in tight cooperation with our users and partners.
