New Line Scan Viewer

Norpix announces the release of the Line Scan Viewer module for its StreamPix 5 high speed digital video recording software. This module integrates with the StreamPix 5 suite in order to provide support for high speed line scan camera devices, capable of handling very high speed image rates and producing a waterfall-like display that can be more easily processed by software users.

The Norpix Line Scan Viewer module is useful when analyzing ultra-fast, single line video images typically used when capturing very detailed images of high speed processes. The module is capable of combining thousands of lines into a single page or image in order to provide a usable framework for video analysis. It can also export video data to an area scan-equivalent still image or digital video file.

  • Pepsi Cola pop can rotating at high speed, imaged with a monochrome line scan sensor (1024 pixels) at 16000 lines per second.
  • Stream capture using StreamPix 5, rebuild as an area scan image 1024x600 lines for better viewing.
  • Exported to a compressed movie with StreamPix line scan export module.
  • Compatible with GigE Vision, Camera Link, or FireWire line scan cameras.
