Edmund Optics has acquired QTF, a company offering a wide range of optical components with high laser damage threshold and laser crystal coatings from the UV to the far IR.

This acquisition allows Edmund Optics to expand its laser optics manufacturing capabilities across crystal and glass fabrication, polishing, metrology, high laser damage threshold and diamond-like carbon coatings, inspection, and testing. QTF’s 14,000 square foot facility, located outside of Tampa, FL, is home to approximately 30 employees, many of whom are laser optics experts.
