Jürgen Müller-Borhanian – ties with laser industry for many years
Müller-Borhanian has already worked at Plasmo as chief operations officer from November 2019 on, being responsible for the areas of global sales, marketing and customer success, partnerships as well as customer service and quality management. He has been linked to the laser industry for many years through various management positions.
After completing vocational training at Robert Bosch GmbH, he studied physics at the University of Stuttgart on a scholarship from the Robert Bosch Foundation and completed his studies with a thesis at the Institute for Blasting Tools (IFSW). Müller-Borhanian also received his doctorate there in 2008 while working. From the research associate in the field of laser material processing and process development at the IFSW of the University of Stuttgart, he was appointed senior scientist in the field of process monitoring and diagnostics as well as overall coordinator of the BMBF project INESS by the Forschungsgesellschaft für Strahlwerkzeuge mbH. He began his career in the private sector as a sales and division manager at Precitec GmbH & Co. KG. After holding various management positions in 2014, he was appointed to the management of Precitec GmbH & Co. He was also a member of the Precitec USA and Precitec Japan management boards. In 2019 he switched to Plasmo Industrietechnik GmbH as COO.
